Make Up – Contouring Makeup & Bronzing Powder

Make Up Contouring & Bronzing Powder

Contouring is a make up technique that uses bronzing powder or blush to give your face a better definition.  But contouring takes a lot of patience and precision, you wouldn’t want to do it on a daily basis.

When it comes to make up, it’s very easy to make a mess of shaping. When your shaping is uneven or if you don’t blend your bronzer evenly your make up can look like it need to be washed off.

Try and experiment contouring technique in the private of your own home. Until you’re confident with it, otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend contouring.

MakeUp Shading and Highlighting

Contouring Make Up – Shading

Shading is a make up technique that helps you to create shadowy areas. So if you want to create or emphasize a hollow then shading will help you to exaggerate those shadowy areas.

You can use either bronzing powder or blush for shading but the shades of the powder should be about two shades darker than your skin. When you choose your contour powder remember that the darker the powder, the deeper the contour. So a powder that’s too dark might give you an unnatural look.

Contouring Make Up – Highlighting

Highlighting are use to open up the areas you want to bring forward such as your cheekbones, the center of your chin, the center of your forehead and down through the bridge of your nose.
